Hi All, Sorry it's been so long since I've posted but I've been hard at work with submitting The Devil Duke and finishing up the first draft of The Bachelor Bounty. I'll post a longer article about exactly what I've been up to, but I did want to whisper that there...

I’m currently reading ‘Your first 1000 copies’ by Tim Grahl – mostly because I’m tossing up between whether to really give the traditional publishing road a go, or to Indie publish my novels.

I’m currently listening to ‘The Story Grid’ Podcast – a podcast dedicated to helping writers and done by Shawn Coyne and Tim Grahl.

Must say I love this podcast! Shawn is an editor with over 25 years experience and Tim is a struggling writer, writing his first novel. Each week they discuss Tim’s work and talk about story structure – really worth listening to!!

Ok, so I must admit that this week my motivation is hiding in the shadows… Don’t know why… I do have the RWAust Conference coming up this week and I’m flying off to Adelaide for a few days of fun, learning and catching up with fellow passionate writers. Not to mention I’m pitching to Sarah Younger and Harlequin, yay!! But for some reason I’m doing all I can to distract myself for writing… Well the only thing to do when distract, is place my behind in my seat and write, write, write!
